The oral and pharynx mucosa can be damaged by cancer therapy (e.g. chemotherapy or radiation therapy). The defects are often underestimated because they only appear in the course of cancer treatment. They can be painful and severely affect quality of life. Some of the consequences are inflammation of the mouth, dry throat, burning sensation, canker sores and pain.

Note: OraLife Gel can be applied when using a Tracheostomy tube, provided that the oral mucosa is intact and not damaged by lesions, sores or other.

Use of OraLife® Gel

If the oral mucosa is damaged by radiation, chemotherapy or other triggers, it is recommended to use OraLife® Gel. The gel should be applied as needed or 3 to 4 times a day.
